Hybrid Technology
Hybrid Technology
By : Hesti Yanuarti
Hybrid Technology is when a vehicle combines two or more sources of power. Hybrid cars almost always have a gasoline engine and an auxiliary electric motor system that runs off rechargeable batteries. Hybrid cars with a hybrid technology have been getting a lot of buzz the last three or four years, and now with the soaring cost of oil and gasoline, hybrids are expected to get hotter than ever.
In 1905, the application for a patent for a hybrid gasoline and electric motor power train brought the hybrid technology motors into existence. At that time the energy saving features were not the main focal point of this dual power model but, nonetheless, the history of hybrid technology had been born.
There were quite a few people interested in hybrid technology, and some were long before the application for this particular patent was submitted. There were some inventors that realized the effect that hybrid technology could give electric running automobiles an added speed boost if they were combined with the horsepower that was afforded through the use of gasoline engines.
Right here hybrid technology always has the new version. Like hybrid SUV, SUV always have new hybrid technology, especially with Ford escape hybrid that become very popular hybrid technology in category best SUV. Toyota Prius always become very popular hybrid car in all categories. So, you must find what is your best hybrid?

on a fossil fuel based combustion engine.
Hybrid CarsHybrid cars are considered to be alternatives to standard fuels because they can run on either a gas engine or be powered by the rechargeable energy storage system or RESS for short, which is an electric motor

Running your car on water!!?? Are you serious…how much would bottled water be worth then…lol…would be nice though…industry leaders would surely find a way to make maximum profits from this…like making engines that only run on distilled water or something…they’re good at that sort of thing…lol

The technical specs are yet to be revealed for this start and stop system apart from that the SUV’s pretty much the same. The only problem was that in really slow start and stop traffic if we switch on the AC for some comfort, the engine’s still going to switch off after a while.

Aren’t we also potentially running out of water too? Is this really a viable long term solution?

I think hybrid technology is a good interim approach until dependable and economic long range fully electric vehicles are available.

Well.. hybridization always creates a revolution in the specific traditional systems… if it makes hybridized or so.. it can be more powerful than before and may need less resources as well. Here in the hybrid cars as well, fuel efficient method is introduced which will be effective for the resource consumption.

Within 10 years the majority of new cars will be hybrid – hopefully primarily dependent on electricity – that will then make it a viable prospect to build the infrastructure to support non-combustion cars, and then the planet has a hope.

For me these hybrids will never really take off until the right energy can be achieved – surely the ones in production at the moment suffer massively from a lack of true power.

Hybrid technology has become the buzz word in the automotive industry, with major manufacturing scrambling to produce and sell hybrid cars. Unfortunately the hybrid car cost are usually more expensive then the old gas guzzlers. If the industry was truly concerned about the environment, they would make their products less expensive.

Great article on niche topic. Having Hybrid cars is essential as per modern days but these cars also need to be more powerful and less expensive and well as easy to maintain. General cars are better in these aspects but still fuel factor and environmental factor matters here.

This is a very informative post about hybrid cars. Thanks for sharing. I’ve even heard that Hemp oil can be used as a viable fuel, but due to government regulations, this option hasn’t caught much steam as far as I know. Keep up the great work!

Eric

Actually the car producers should focus on mass production of cheap and good green cars. After all, oil is running out, might as well pump money into building solar-powered cars.
