Solar Electricity

Solar electric is one of source electricity for our life. If you decide to power your house with a solar electric system, you will receive FREE power from the sun, once your system is paid for. One of reason why people using solar electric is because people want to save our earth from demage. Like using hybrid car, maybe solar electric can reduce demage in our earth.

Solar electric or solar energy works by converting the sun’s rays into electricity with the use of solar panels to supply power to the appliances use in our homes. Solar eletric works by converting the sun’s rays into heat with the use of solar thermal collectors for warming water. Solar electric works by converting the sun’s rays into hot air for heating buildings with the use of solar thermal collectors.

The modern age of solar electric power technology arrived in 1954 when Bell Laboratories, experimenting with semiconductors, accidentally found that silicon doped with certain impurities was very sensitive to light. This resulted in the production of the first practical solar cells with a sunlight energy conversion efficiency of around 6 percent.The solar battery was first demonstrated on April 25, 1954.

Only a few years ago, it was very uncommon to find solar electric energy homes because solar panels were very expensive and had little return on investment. But now that small-scale solar electric energy applications are available to homeowners, more and more houses are switching to solar electric energy. So maybe to reduce global warming, solar electric can be one of energy alternative.
